The Go Battle League from Pokemon Go launches on March 13th in the first season

It seems that the Pokemon go messages did not end with ABRAS Community Day. Now Niantic has announced that the first season of the competitive Go Battle League from Pokemon Go on March 13 starts. On this day, players can test their skills against other coaches from all over the world.

The Battle League was already available in the preseason. Niantic has made improvements here and since to ensure that the game is as balanced as possible. A test site for the actual league that starts next Friday.

Coaches will compete against others with a similar rank as they themselves, that s at least the hope. There are three league variants – Great, Ultra and Master – which will be alternately available after the start of the opening season.

The current schedule looks like this:

The Great League will take place from 13 to 27 March, where there will be a 1500 CP limit
The Ultra League runs from 27 March to April 10 with a CP limit of 2500
The Master League takes place from 10 to 24 April without CP limit

From 24th April to 1 May all three leagues are available.

During the preseason of Go Battle League several changes have been made. For example, victories will now be more important in early ranks. In addition, adjustments were made to rewards that lead to more Pokemon encounters, Avatar objects and an exclusive avatar pose.

During the first season, trainers have the opportunity to meet as a reward on several legendary Pokémon. These include Thundurus, Darkrai and Altered Forms Giratina. Before starting the first season, there will also be special events over which you can read in the latest Pokemon Go blog post.
